La Cage Aux Follies

French comedy tracing the hilarity that ensues when a young heterosexual fellow asks his homosexual father and his father's transvestite lover if they could make their life look temporarily conventional, since the father of the girl he intends to marry is Chairman of the Morals Squad. The movie bogs down with a few too many lover's spats, but the pace accelerates at the uproariously farcical dinner that unites everybody, including a few surprise guests. Adult for risque sex. ★
